Questions about Arabic dubbing
Should we dub into Modern Standard Arabic or a dialect?
Modern Standard Arabic reaches every Arab market with one version and is the usual choice for children’s content and documentaries. A dialect such as Egyptian, Syrian or Lebanese suits drama and comedy made for a particular audience. Tell us who will watch, and we’ll recommend one before casting begins.
What does lip-sync dubbing involve?
We adapt each line to match the lip movements and timing on screen, cast and direct the voices in our studios, then mix them with the original music and effects. You receive finished audio, delivered to your technical specs.
Do you dub children’s programmes?
Yes. We dub animation and children’s programmes, songs included, usually in Modern Standard Arabic. Our clients include Nickelodeon and the children’s channels Jeem and Baraem.
Can you take on a full series?
Yes. Eleven studios and eight editing suites in Beirut and Dubai give us the capacity for full seasons, and one team stays with your title from the first episode to the last.
Do you dub into languages other than Arabic?
Yes. We also dub into English, French, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, Farsi and Urdu, with more languages on request.
What do you need from us for a quote?
The title, the number and length of episodes, the Arabic you have in mind and your delivery date. A link to a sample helps too. We reply within 24 hours with a dialect recommendation and a quote.
