1. Who we are

Tania Production is an Arabic dubbing, subtitling and localisation studio operated by Tania Production FZ-LLC, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, together with its affiliated office in Beirut, Lebanon. For the purposes of data protection law, Tania Production FZ-LLC is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. 2. Personal data we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form or email us, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your first and last name, phone number, company, the service you are interested in, and the content of your message. If you work with us, we also collect business contact details and information needed to manage the relationship, such as job title, billing details and correspondence.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Website, we and our service providers collect limited technical information, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring pages and the date and time of your visit. We use this to keep the Website secure, working properly and to understand how it is used.

Information from others. We may receive business contact details from partners, clients, industry events and markets (such as MIPCOM), or publicly available professional sources such as LinkedIn.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data through the Website, and we ask that you do not send us such data unless it is necessary.

3. How and why we use personal data

We use personal data only where we have a lawful basis to do so:

  • To respond to enquiries and requests for quotes, meetings or demos: to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
  • To provide our services and manage client, partner and supplier relationships: performance of a contract and our legitimate interests in running our business.
  • To operate, secure and improve the Website: our legitimate interest in maintaining a safe and effective website.
  • To send business updates or newsletters: your consent where required by law, or our legitimate interest in keeping existing business contacts informed. You can opt out at any time.
  • To comply with legal obligations: such as accounting, tax and regulatory requirements, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to function, load quickly and stay secure, and to produce aggregated statistics about how visitors use it. Where the law requires your consent for non-essential cookies, we will ask for it, and you can withdraw it at any time. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings, although some parts of the Website may not work properly if you do.

5. Who we share personal data with

We share personal data only where necessary and with appropriate safeguards, with:

  • Our offices in Lebanon and the UAE, where needed to handle your enquiry or project.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and auditors.
  • Authorities or other parties where required by law, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or that of others.
  • A successor business in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

6. International transfers

We operate from Lebanon and the UAE, and our service providers may process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Where personal data from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland is transferred to a country that does not have an adequacy decision, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum where relevant), together with additional measures where needed. You can contact us for more information about these safeguards.

7. How long we keep personal data

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. As a general guide, we keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact if no business relationship follows, and client and supplier records for as long as the relationship lasts plus the period required by applicable accounting, tax or limitation laws. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it securely.

8. How we protect personal data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS) on the Website, access controls limited to staff who need the information, and confidentiality obligations for our team and service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a personal data breach where the law requires.

  • ask us to delete your data;
